My local junkyard has 50 dollar transmissions. I want to put a 5 speed nv3500 hooked to a 231 t case. Now do I need the dinars drive shaft? And is the brake and clutch pedals on unit? There's a master cylinder for the clutch somewhere I need that to right? An di already know I need a act tune to disable the auto trans sensors.

No did not do it yet but will be getting the parts next week. Just one more question if the nv3500 is 7 inches shorter can I take the drive shaft from the Dakota I'm pulling out Thea s from. This Dakota is 4wd. Prolly make sense to measure my drive shaft and then the one at the yard. From what I seen the were alot thicker thank mine are the like 5 or more Inches round and aluminum?
