I've had a problem recently where my passenger caliper seems to hang, and the drivers side seems to sit so low that the rattle spring rides the rotor hat. Turns out to be divots worn into the steering knuckle pad ledge. This is causing one side to not release and the other side to make noise. Am I the only person to run into this issue. I see it seems to happen a lot to jeeps and I am assuming they use the same knuckle as my 02 durango.
Short from welding this and grinding....which I have no welder and honestly have never welded ever in my life, is there a shim or something that can go in there for the pads to ride on instead of that ledge?
