I bolted up the intake manifold today to give the RTV a chance to set for a few days before firing up the engine... My upper radiator hose will be in on tuesday, and my MM&S bolts will hopefully be here in time to bolt everything back together next weekend.

I figured I'd take a couple of pictures before all the hoses & wires get in the way again... I will most likely wait until after Mopars at the Strip to re-route all the hoses & wires for a cleaner appearance.

looks good just get some simple green and you'll be good.....j/k...im just jealous because i have a 2.5L

Sparkly.

I don't think I could ever put a new part on and let the RTV settle.:jester: My manifold I fired it up 2 seconds after it was put together.:drive:

BTW - look up FireCore50s my friend makes them(I call him except his wife just gave birth to alittle girl), I'm sure the Mag/LA would be the same. Custom fit and no slop of other wires.

If I had all the parts to put it back together it would be running this afternoon. Technically I could reassemble everything, but I wanted to replace a few parts that I deemed "not the way I like" - IMHO it's worth waiting another week for some key replacement parts.

I'm waiting on an upper radiator hose (previous hose clamps made re-using hose undesirable), OEM hose clamps (ditching the Home Depot clamps), spark plug wires (Spiro-Pro's already on order - wires that came with the truck are mismatched and dirty), and MM&S bolts (all engine bay bolts are being replaced with new polished allen bolts).

Are you using a 90-degree water neck?

Is the upper hose out of the radiator on the drivers side? If so, I might need the same hose you're getting :D

Looks nice, how much power you expecting to get outta that block?
I dunno... 320hp N/A maybe? Was waiting for the header/exhaust upgrade to finally take it to the dyno...

408 stroker - 9.8:1 compression
Mopar 2.02 R/T heads - KRC ported
.512/.512 210/220 @.050 110cl camshaft
Mopar 1.6 rockers
M1-4bbl intake manifold
F&B 55x52 throttle body
K&N 14x3" round filter
Zimmer PCM Flash
Spintech Headers
Spintech exhaust - no cats

The truck also has 4.56 gears, N2O (100 or 150 shot), and drag wheels/tires for the strip.

The hose does come out of the driver's side of the radiator, but I don't have a 90-degree water neck - this one sticks straight up and is about 1.5" long. I just stripped it back to bare metal (was rusted), gonna either paint it black, or will rush it over to vegas powdercoating to match the silver vein treatment.

Steve like I always say in your thread .. I Hate you :jester: :joke:

Looking awesome Steve :mullet:

WHat are the specs for the bolts for the 2bbl adapter?? I got the manifold from turboblew but I am missing those bolts:(
It's best if you measure your own lengths to be sure, but the bolt type is 5/16" with 18-pitch coarse thread. The bolts I ordered won't be the same as yours because I have a Zex 4-bbl injection plate sandwiched in there.

You should be able to run to Home Depot/Lowe's to get what you need, they aren't exotic sizes.
