Alright guys. On my New R/T its had a check engine light since ive bought it. so i hooked up little computer and came up with two codes.

-Too Lean
-02 Sensor Circuit High Volts (Bank 1 Sensor 2)

So i take it this one o2 sensor is setting off both codes. which one of i think the four o2 sensors is it? im not sure which one is "Bank 1 Sensor 2"

Any help would be great:wave:

Bank 1 is passenger side, fyi.

A downstream sensor stuck high means its not reading as much oxygen as there really is, and the truck will lean out the mixture to attempt to get more oxygen to the cat (to keep cat efficiency up).

How many miles on the sensors? I'd definately replace both downstream sensors (do them in pairs) and if you have more than 75k on the old ones, I'd just replace the upstreams too. They are $50 on rockauto.

Wrong! Bank 1 is the odd numbered cylinders which are on the drivers side. Bank 2 is the even numbered cylinders which are on the passenger side.

I thought bank 1 was the driver's side. I had a p0141 a few months ago that was bank 1 sensor 2. I switched out the rear driver's side sensor, and I've been free of the CEL since

alright. so im finding two seperate pre-cat sensors, and it seems like the post-cats are identical. does this seem right?
also you said to buy them in pairs, so buy two rears and change both? because the other1 will porbably fail shortly after the first i imagine:waiting:

and i have just over 80,000 miles:wave:

:banana2:Thanks guys for all the help so far and probably alot in the future:drive::D

Sorry, I stand corrected. Bank 1 is the bank with cyl #1., but what he ^ said for the rest of it.

It is odd though that my bank 2 sensor shorted to voltage code went away after changing the bank 1 sensor (but it did drive like shit until changing the bank 2 sensor)
