I was buying a Rancho 3" Suspension lift for my 99 dak through 4wheelparts.com and this is the e-mail i get from them...

I ran into a big problem. The Rancho kit for you dakota has been discontinued and we sold our last one 4/10/06. I called Rancho and they said it is discontinued and we cannot get anymore. I show that some were suppost to come in to our warehouse but Rancho told me they were all out and not making anymore so they already voided our purchase order for the kit. The part numbers are RS6590 and I even told them you were in a car accident to see is there was any chance to get one. They said they could not help me and do not have any. I spoke with my manager and he suggested for you to contact Rancho and see who the last kits they had shipped out to. Then maybe you can call the different companies and see if they still have the kits. This is the only way to find you a kit at this time. I also checked through all 48 of my retail stores and no luck with anyone having the kit. I have 6 warehouses also and none of them have the kit either. At this point there is no way for me to get my hands on a kit. I am sorry for this situation I just found out today when I was checking on the purchase order for our stock. I had to call my purchase department to let them know the P.O. has already been cancelled. If there is anything I can do for you let me know. I would start by contacting the company we were going to beat the price on and see if they have it in stock."

I bought one from Performancelifts.com just minutes ago, but i'm going to e-mail Rancho and see if i can get some insight into this.
