Any idea why you went with a V10 out of a ram? I guess you got a deal on that engine! And just to let you know, all the V10s have been the same until just recently, they made the block in aluminum now, so yea lol.

???? Yes all of the Magnum v-10's are the same. The SRT-10 Ram's use a Gen 3 Viper engine. Only difference is with the quadcabs bell housing, it matches the 48RE instead of the t-56.

Well I actually have a Magnum V-10 and a Gen 3 Viper engine here. Went with the Magnum V-10 because it has 0.25" more deck height. Same motor mounts as the 5.9L. Same bell housing as well. Weighs 130lbs more than the Viper block. This is a Durango so the goal is not to run 7's it is to surprise the hell out of those SRT-10 Ram owners and maybe a few of those Viper guys as well.:nana:
Wait a second....the V10 out of a Ram is compatible with everything fro ma 5.9 Durango, and a V10 out of a Viper is T-56 only?...

What?!?!?
The Gen 3 Viper engines are used in the SRT-10 Ram's The regular cabs use the t-56 tranny and a identical to the Gen 3 Viper's. The Quadcab's were too heavy for the t-56 so the Viper's bellhousing was modified (1 pin location) for the 48RE to bolt to it.

The Magnum Iron Block V-10's 94-03 are heavily based upon the 5.9L whatever they could reuse they did. Just like the Gen 4 Vipers use 6.1L Hemi parts!
Yea but will a 46RE bolt up to a V10 from a Ram? Meaning, the V10 from a Ram and from a Viper are slightly different in which the T-56 bolts to the Viper version not the Ram version?

And if I read this correct, there is only one pin difference between a 48RE bolting up and a Viper T-56 bolting up comparing the Ram V10 and the Viper V10?
