I dont really want to cut a hole in my new grill to get to the hood latch...i need some ideas how to do it...i think i saw a coat hanger once but i got the lower girll insert too and i can't get my hand up below the lower bumper to reach up.

I have a street scene grill and they sent the hardware to do it.(I also have cables really simular at my work...lawn mower shop)
Its hidden between the grill and bumper...

When you pull the hood release it becomes sort-a visible...

All you have to do is lift the hood up while pulling on the little handle and the hood opens easilly. If you have a grill in the valance, you'd have to get a longer cable.

It took me probably 30min to install.
Try asking street scene's web site and ask for a replacement if you want one.
