I need some advice from you guys. There is a 2000 dakota r/t RC about 2 hrs north from me and the guy is selling it for cheap so I'd like to know what you all think and if this is a good call because I think it is. Heres a rundown of the specifics.
-2000 RC R/T 5.9 auto with 99,000miles - has told me the driveline is rock solid, he took it off the road in May because he has full size truck and a child so he no longer uses it as his daily.
-he had the rear end rebuilt at around 80k miles and had new brakes put on then as well. Also regularly changed fluids.
-all stock suspension on the truck, but he has a full hotchkis 2/3 drop suspension he's including.
-overall pretty clean looking inside and out and It looks decent.
The BAD
-has a rebuilt title (says he can only find previous damage on the rear bed of the truck but no other signs of damage. He also said he had it aligned a couple years ago and frame was good) He said he has the lein release and never had a problem registering it.
-the body isn't perfect, has two small dents, small dent which has rust in the tail gate, and the driver side of front bumper has some minor rust.
-it also needs tires to pass inspection.
