I have a 02 Durango 4.7.. I was driving and it just quit no signs nothing restarted it and went 1000 ft and quit... nothing after that nothing... tow it home and checked fuel have it at the fuel rail.. but no fire on the plug.. replaced the plugs.. replace crankshaft and cam sensors checked all timing chains 3 of them there not broken.. Had it towed to a dealer explain it to him and the mechanic got in it and turned it over and got out and said the engine bad I can't believe that I'm no mechanic but I was told if the engine went I would know it...they was no smoke.. no noise..no lites on dash you thing I would hear lifters ..knocking see smoke or somthing just quit...Thanks for your time..
