I went HARDCORE roadin toaday and got a good amount of desert pinstripes all over the sides of my truck. They didnt get to the paint but are in the clear pretty good. How can I polish them out? any products you can reccomend?
and the truck is "deep garnet red" i find it a PITA color to take care of like black for example.
thanks

Meguiars and mothers make good scratch and clay bars that should help. I think black is easy because it is so easy to touch up.

I had hardcore scratches on my black truck from rubbing on twigs and all sorts of shit. I used turtle wax buffing compound, followed with turtle wax polishing compound. I used a cheap buffer from wal mart to apply the compounds. It turned out great. make sure to wash and wax the truck afterwards to get all the residue off, or it will leave a white haze.

I wished I brought my camera I figured my sister would have brought hers I was wrong!
I gashed up the outside tread of my rear left tire on a granite hill they only have 100 mi on them! and i'am angry but oh well. I also put a gash in my gas tank and chipped some plastic off the emissions cannister thingy. I also scraped paint offa my frnt bumper and rear tow hitch but I can easily fix that.
it was hardcore because I did the same trail in a pinzgauer 710 4x4(With both F+R diff's locked) and and a 03 2wd TRD taco and both had a hard time makeing it up the hill I made up in my little 2wd open diff no problem! :D
