Hey all. I did a search already and couldn't find anything so here goes this past Monday morning one of my hid's didn't look right when I pulled into the coffee shop for my morning coffee I figured I would shut them off and turn them back on to see if it would fix it but that made it worse. The proble
is the bulb is really dim. I'm not sure if it is the bulb or the ballast. The brand is McCulloch probably one the best brands out there. I have had them for three years and this is the first problem Ive had with them. I'm hoping it's he bulb that would be the cheaper fix. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

I'm starting to think that it is the ballast now. When I turn them on with the truck off you can usually hear the ballasts making a high pitch noise and the passenger side one isn't doing anything.

Well come to find out I had a buddy of mine bring over some spare ballasts for me to try. I tried both of them and the light still didn't go on i then grabbed the drivers side ballast and that didn't work so I then tried the passenger side ballast on the driver side and it worked, took the bulb out low and behold the bulb was blown. I just ordered replacment bulbs today off of ebay. So I will have both HID's back up next week yaaaaa:mullet:

I have the 1 piece projector housings. I had them in the stock housings before I had the projectors and I never had any problems with being flashed by oncoming traffic.
