i have a 2002 Dakota sxt reg cam 4x4 3.9L with 5 speed
when i run my heat or AC it dosent matter where i select the air to come out (in the floor on the windshield ect) it will blow only on the windshield. its pretty annoying any help figuring it out would be great thanks

OK i don't know if im just not seeing the vacuum hose that is referd to in the link above or what but i cant find it.. only thing i see around to my heater hose is the accelerator pedal cable and thats it nothing else...?? anyone got a pic of what im supposed to be looking for or a better description of where its located?

did you go to the link i posted a couple posts up and try what they suggested?

i looked all over my firewall on both sides and didnt see a vacuum hose coming through any where

i saw the thread, but i'm at work right now.

Starting in 2001, vacuum was no longer used for HVAC mode selection. Electric motors were used.

Time to dig in and see if something is mechanically broken or just not getting juice. I don't know off hand where the blend door is...

at least i know im not blind because i couldn't find a vacuum hose..
