X2 on the flex-a-light 180. I run mine on an adjustable thermostat and it suits my needs well.

i am going to a flex a lite, or HHR fan, maybe cherokee fan too

Stupid question but when you take off the clutch fan what holds the pulley on.?
The pulley is mounted to the pump, the clutch fan is threaded onto the pulley.

As far as the fan, I am running a FAL 180 also, and its an amazing fan. More than you will need. Keeps mine cool in the hot VA weather. With my built motor ceramic coated internals, no clutch fan it keeps my motor plenty cool.

Sounds good. Summit has the FAL 180 that comes with the adjustable thermostat and what not for like 329 bucks. Now your trucks come with only the electric fan right, so the single fan does both duties for the regular cooling and the extra AC cooling right.? Just running the FAL 180 with the adjustable thermostat, and bypassing ( basically leaving the wires for the AC fan not hooked up) the factory AC wire be ok.No CEL or anything would result right? Or are those fans like two speed fans? And the AC wires are hooked up also? Or do you use the manual switch wire to hook it up so you can have a always on option as well as the thermostat on option?

Realized through more digging that the Dakota's had the clutch fan also, but some had no electric fan.. Just want to make sure if I'm only gonna wire the thermostat control from the kit and tie the AC wires out of the way.
