what length do you need? i still have the aluminum one from my swap

i just posted a thread a bit lower, most people recommend scrap yards. Elsewise is specialty shops, dealership or any garage.

afaik anyway.

picked up one out of an 03 for 200$, had to go down to pick it up.

i do not have the know how nor the correct tools to make one...but that is interesting

mine stripped the teeth off the driveshaft that goes into the transfer case...the teeth in the transfer case appear to be ok...

there are a number of places that can fab one up in either steel or aluminum.

Eventually Im going to have an aluminum 1 piece made for my truck to replace the 2 piece.

thanks man...

mine looks like the one with one u-joint...without that big ring on it...which makes me think the ring thing may have to be changed to?

not 100% sure on what you're saying

but our driveshafts can't be fixed. I think it's because of the U-Joints that no one wants to touch them.

busted the one on my father's 71 Monte. went to a machine shop and had a new one made for $300...

ohiomike, You might try a truck repair facility. Most of them can make new driveshafts for whatever you need. This is the place I go to. http://www.inlandtruck.com/
They made the drive shaft for my Buick drag car and also did the rebuild on the rearend when I changed gears. Also used them extensivly when I was into offroading. I know they don't have a facility near you, just posting an example.
