So i'm driving home from the fire academy (had night class) and i'm coming down the highway when a cop gets right up my ass and sits there so i try to merge, and of course some asshat in a POS honda gets up my ass and lays on his horn and of course the cop pulls me over. Comes to the car and asks where were coming from and i tell him we're coming from class and he's like oh alright. give him insurance and license and all the bs and he looks at me and tells me my insurance cards expired. Nothing i could do about that. He goes back to his car with my license and reg and another car pulls up behind him. I think nothing of it but regular backup for a pullover. A few minutes pass and he comes back up to me.
"I'm gonna let that unsafe merge slide tonight and give you a warning for that, but i have to write you for the insurance (expected) and obstructed view" I had a fucking air freshner hanging from my mirror. Never been pulled over in my life and he writes me for this bullshit. Not even the best part. He didn't even write the tickets. He pulled me over out of his jurastriction and called for a cop from that town to write the tickets. The cop that wrote em never even saw my insurance card or looked in my car. Never even left the first car's side. I'm fighting both the tickets because i have the card, just not in my truck, and the cop that wrote the tickets never even came to my window to see the obstruction in the window.
