I have been contemplating this for some time now. But I just cant figure out how I was to set it up. I am wanting to run about 35inch tires. I am also looking to do a little bit of rock crawling, and possibly go and play in the mud when we get some. I was kind of leaning away from leafs up front. Any suggestions on axle setup and everything needed. Any pics would be awesome too.
Read the thread with the same title in the off road section, just got asked.

I will give you the same answer - SEARCH, there are multiple SAS builds and tons of info has been covered. Read, then start a thread and ask questions.

looking around and everything, That is the exact setup that I am going to go with. I found a set ofr d44 & 9" rear with 4.88 gears already in them local for $400. I just haven't figured out what size coils and leafs for the rear that I need yet. If you could help out with that. It would be much appreciated. Thanks again all.
Thats a good deal on the axles.

I will let someone else chime in on coil length, but for the rear just do a shackle flip with the stock springs. It will lift enough to clear a 37".

yeah hopefully. Until then I will start piecing everything else together. As far as the shackle flip in the rear, I couldn't really find much info. But i did find this, http://diy4x.com/cart/index.php?route=product/product&path=24&product_id=160 I was wondering if this will work for what I am needing.
That will work, but if you want to save money do it yourself.

I ground the rivets off the stock hangers and then just flipped/welded them back on and added some gussets to the top. There are pictures of how I did it in one of my threads.
