I have a problem with a front end noise on my 2003 4.7 QC 2WD that's become a damn headache. Whenever I turn one way and then the other I hear, and sometimes feel through the floor board, a clunk or loud pop on the second turn. It never does it if I make two lefts or two rights consecutively, only one and then the other. I've taken it to 3 different shops and gotten nowhere. First one couldn't duplicate it, second one could but was worthless and the third said it was my hotchkis sway bar. The sway bar has been on there for 6 years without any problems, but I took it off just to see and it didn't help at all. Through the madness of trying to fix it, I've replaced pretty much the whole front suspension. Bushings and ball joints (by way of new Moog upper and lower control arms), tie rod ends, coil springs and insulators, shocks and sway bar links have all been done. Rides like new, but still have the noise. I don't want to just keep replacing parts but I gotta get her fixed, and the mechanics around here are no help. Anyone experienced the same/similar or have any ideas?
Thanks in advance
