so i have a 360 block and would like to get some opinions from some people who really know how to build their engines. its going to be a bare block, but first of all, should i consider getting it bored? i'm planning on getting at least 400 hp/tq out of N/A....then adding a SC'er or Turbo. where should i start with this...i mean, i have an idea of most of the basic parts like TB, intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, etc. but i dont know about the parts like camshafts, valves, cyclinder heads, pistons, timing stuff, etc, and all the internals that have to be mathematically in sync with each other. what would some suggestions be for the parts i need to make the #'s i'm wanting to? and btw, this is gonna be a SWEET engine when i'm through....clean looking, all performance parts, mopar red, and the power! its going into a regular cab sxt, which is my daily driver, but also my project truck....the whole package is going to be one sweet ride when im through....its gonna take a while, but completely worth the :drool: factor when i'm through. anyway, i'm hopin someone has some good advice for me, cause i'm really wanting to learn as much as possible while doing this....i would say i'm mechanically inclined, but a novice right now...i know more than the average joe, but the technical stuff gets me. so thanks for any replies. :mullet:
