voltage is actually regulated by the pcm not the alternator. on these trucks the alternator has no regulator. it happend to me twice within 2 days on the same road, in the same place, at the same time of day. stopped it both times and restarted it. that was a couple years ago, never had it do it again, so i dont know what the deal was. i hope it doesnt ever again cuz that was annoying.
