2000 Durango. 5.9L, 4x4, auto, 120K miles. Driving today and the "Check Gauges" light came on on the dash. I found the charging gauge pegged to the high side and would not come down. Stopped and restarted the truck and the charge gauge is now normal (14V) but the truck does seem to idle slightly rough. There were no associated codes.
Any idea? Alternator? Battery? Thanks for any insight. I am visiting in Wichita for Thanksgiving and will be heading back to Colorado on Sunday so appreciate any help you might have.
