When I bought my truck the A/C didnt work and the dealership figured the freon was empty so they filled it up. My dad took it home and tried it and said it came pouring out of the vents.. So I have been told that the evaporator needs to be replaced. Does anyone know if this is true and also I bought a evaporator off ebay, but I just dont know if I have the right one. Does anyone have a picture of what the evaporator looks like for a 2001 Dakota regular cab?

Yea the evap core is bad if the freon is "pooring" out of the vents. Not to fun to change either, dash must come out.
