What is a good brake pad to use?

I've been looking, but I'm just curious what you guys like.

Thanks for any input.

does autozone still sell the lifetime warranty pad and rotor?

all the hooplah about the pads/rotors gettin eaten up by dakotas, i was thinking that would be my best bet..

I still have the factory pads/rotors on mine.

Bendix titaniumetallic 2

I have a set on my 04. AFter 10 thousand miles of hard stop and go use I got my state inspection at the local Monroe and the dude said they were still some of the thickest looking pads he'd seen on any truck that came through his shop.

I using Hawk LTS with stock rotors for now. I felt a big improvement over the stock brake pads and a lot less brake dust as well. That is one thing I hated on my '04. Good luck with you search!

Eric.

jsut the pads... they used to carry a one year on their rotors ..but they found out most daks eat through them in a year .. so they changed it to a 90 day warrenty :rant:

I have used powerslots rotors with the Hawk pads on my last two trucks and have had good luck with them.... great braking power :mullet:
