I think he is referring to the key lock issue (there is a thread about it). I don't think they will replace anything but that lock.

Once letters start going out you can bring it in and they will run the VIN and do the repair, you don't need a letter. Unfortunately you do need to wait until they start actually doing the warranty work which is in January (I think)...
 
Yeah, its something to do with the 'gear blocker' that can allow the gear shift to move from park without a key in the ignition.

I stopped in at my local dealer last week and they said they don't have any infomation about it yet so they can't do anything yet...I'm not too worried about it because I use my parking brake on the slightest of hills and I couldn't get it to malfuction anyway.
 
i actually just got back from the dealership getting my oil changed (under contract) and they told me about the recall and did whatever work had to be done. All they did was take out the lever inside the truck that puts the transmission into gear and replace some little part inside of it, it probably took the guy about twenty minutes to do. And like was said before it has to do with the truck going into neutral, drive, reverse, etc... from park when the key is not in the ignition and the truck rolling away:wave:.
