Yeah, It's not a bad site. I'm actually a moderator for the college I transeferred from last year. It wasn't anything special, you just had to make sure all the comments and ratings were appropriate, check spellings of teachers, and other little stuff like that. Something to do when I was bored. That website was actually just recently acquired by MTV Networks ( I think it was sometime this year) and there have been several changes form the old rate my prof, and they say there are supposed to be more new features coming, but I don't know what. I got an email a few weeks back about a new site like rate my professors called pickaprof.com. In the email it says that it gets the records directly from your school on the number of A-F's given by a teacher and stuff like that. I never have checked it out, so I don't really know anything else about it. What all schools does everyone here go to? I'm currently at my 3rd college in 3 yrs and think I have finally found the one to stay at- The #1 Party School In The Nation.....West Virginia University:beer:

yeah that site used to be really really helpful every semester when i had to pick classes, but now that im getting close to the finishing courses, every class I have to take is only offered at one time and by one professor so I am stuck taking the class with who ever it is. Right now I have a class with possibly the worst professor on ratemyprofessor.com because he is the only one teaching it.

I wish I would have known about those sites when I was in school. My final choices for college after high school were San Diego State and BYU, two opposites on the spectrum. Luckily I chose BYU and graduated last year on time and now have a pretty decent job, if I would have gone to San Diego State I would probably still be in school, like most of my buddys that went there, who still have a long way.

This is a good one I wish some of my bad teachers last semester were on there, but luckily they have left the school.

I've used it before, keeps me from signing up for classes that I cant understand the proff because of such a heavy accent...the statistics department at the University of Manitoba is brutal for this.

But in the Agriculture faculty it's great, most of the proff's know the kids names and any family that has been there too!
