That's a sharp looking truck man!
If I may make a suggestion, I see you have the drop already planned, but what about painted to match grille and bumper? I just thought that stood out a little too much. I like it the way it is, don't get me wrong, just a thought.

LOL I`ve had those that say paint them and those that say leave them...I like it this way which is why I left them chrome. It`s themed as a tribute to 70`s musclecars and unless they had the elastometric bumpers most were chrome.That's a sharp looking truck man!

Yea, when I saw the finished truck, my jaw dropped. I showed a friend and he was drooling. That thing is nuts man. I wanna get me an old dak! :clap2:

dude you and scatdak both have the coolest 2nd gens on here. very very good work. looks bad. and love the paint. did you do the paint based off the hood or did u already have it in mind. cause that truck is just bad ass.if i were todo something like that i am goin with the six pack and the t/a paint but in a gun metal grey. and i would use 15x10 rallyes on the back and 15x6 up front. once again looks very good. and if you want a stock air cleaner with a new k&n filter and the tube. you can have mine. since theres no v6 in my truck no more i dont need it.i didnt need it any way (turbo). pm me and let me know if you want it. ill get pics for ya. i can even match the paint on your truck to paint the box.

Thanks a bunch! I have something in mind to do with the aircleaner anyway though. But it will have to wait till next yr. I took the hose off the tube and blocked the opening. That lid is used to just cover the filter and the foam under the hood seals to the edge of the cleaner. The engine does all it`s breathing through the scoop. I was wanting to do the rallyes but did`nt feel like going through all the headache of switching it from 6 lug to 5.Besides i really liked these rims when I saw them. I actually did the hood based off the truck but had to get the hood ready first. I had all the design for everything and the parts I wanted to use decided over a yr ago but had to finalize a colour. Once that was done it was full steam ahead!
