Thanks for all the nice comments guys! It's an ongoing project and a labor of love. It's nice to hear that my fellow dak/dur folks like what I've done so far.

very nicely done, y isnt the handles painted? but still very nicely done n y you got my vote
Thanks! The handles aren't done yet because the first set I had done were off a 99, so they didn't fit, and the second set I have now, well I just haven't done them yet, but coming soon:eek:nethumb:

Why did you get rid of the rear stripe? I've been wanting to get one because of your R/T.

And good question on the handles, the rear is painted, but not the sides? And what Boo Boo did you have?
Looks good, not a fan of the 1 piece though
Got rid of the stripe because I just wanted to go all black and chrome. Just looks cleaner to me. Here's the boo boo http://dakota-durango.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35314

Love it! I say paint the handles and niteshade that reflector in the headlights.

How'd you like the pre-cut? Pretty easy huh?
Yeah, the pre-cut was pretty easy. I fubared the passenger door window pretty good, but you can't tell in the pics. I'll have to be re-doing that one. Thanks for the tip on that e-bay seller!

Thats one hot lookin dakota. First thing I thought when the pics loaded was... wow, its an updated Jack Yates' truck. The pics even have similar scenery (see pics below). Dont forget to paint the roof joint mouldings too. Nice truck man. Did you go with the stock black, or change it ?

Off topic: what bed cover is that? I been looking for one with the spoiler since my first Dak, now I am on my third and still looking!
Super job on the Truck looks absolutly Beautiful!

Looks SIIIIIIIIICK Seany! I agree...I think it looks better without the stripe, good call on that gramps.

Ever think about doin the 3rd b-light cover black?? Thats the only thing thats really outta place/taking away from the whole theme you got to me.

Wow, that's almost scary! I've never seen that truck, but I sure do like it! And the paint is stock PX8.

It's the innovations fiberglass pro-sport tonneau. Unfortunately innovations tanked a while back and the cover is no longer produced:cussing:

Yep, that's one of the things on the to do list. I'm doing the handles, third brake light, and something different with the headlights, but keeping that to myself for now;)

Black is beautiful. Nice Sean. I still would love to see the stripe come back though.

i have been thinking about getting an iron cross rear view and a billet antenna for a while now. so two questions, 1. Any issues with not enough visibility or anything with the rear view/how do you like it? 2. what length antenna is that?

That tint wouldn't last 3 days in ventura for you either, and you hope to be in NorCal by end of summer  :jester:
um no ...about the stripe... :nana:

1. At first it was honestly a pain, but I've gotten used to it. You can still see directly behind, but the periferral is gone to hell. I've just gotten used to using my side mirrors alot more. I never rely on the rear view for lane changes etc. Only use it to watch for smokies when I'm haulin' down the highway.

2. My antenna is an 18", and the reception is still as good as with the stock whip.
