I wouldnt mind the cam you have in there now. Im looking for somthing to put in for the mean time that is a bit better than stock until I can aford to get heads.

Also you guys need to go to Sycamore, its right near The rolls but its a huge open wash with some nice hills to climb. And on saturday nights its a huge party spot. Too bad you guys all have 4 wheels. Ive got a kx250 with a TON of work done to it.

I can only ride one at a time, so I technically have an extra for somebody who doesn't mind riding the "family" quad. We need to set a date.

As long as we go to a place without an ton of large rocks ill be fine. Dirt bikes dont like rocks too well.

im down, new to riding my dirt bike but should be fun......Where we gonna go?

what about the ppl wthout quads or bikes? kinda expensice to rent them, but its a whole lot of fun.. like i said in a pervious post.. i rented 2 quads for 400 for the weekend, picked them up friday night, then returned them sunday night...

again.. this is all up to the they guys with out quads and what they want to do. i dont mind sharing mine, but id like us to ALL to go out riding you know

How many of the group are willing to commit to a GTG? If more non-riders are in, then it should be a non-riding get together. After all, the riders can just go ride any time as a group. (But it better be soon - before it gets much hotter down here).

That being said, I'm planning to go to Firebird this Friday whether it is the event or not. I doubt I can commit to 2 outings without the family this weekend (Don't even suggest I try the "family night at the track" thing. I already have and it fails miserably!)

As far as the ride, I'd suggest Sunday, but it is Mother's Day. That means next Sat or Sun. I'd also suggest that we go fairly early in the morning to better deal with temps, and as not to take use up a full weekend day. Something like a 7:30 meeting at a donut shop or breakfast place (even fast food) and then plan to be back by around 1 or 2. Once we get an idea of who is in, then I need to know who's going to ride the white one. The only requirement is $5 for gas, an understanding that if you break it doing something stupid (the only real way for something to break) - you pay to fix it, and your own helmet/gear. Kduce has dibs if he can go on the date we set.

These are just my suggestions. I'd like to hear some others.

Well my hand is broken so no riding for me :jester:

G2g

If we were gonna do a riding G2G, next weekend sounds like it would probably be the best. I don't know of any place to ride since I am fairly new to riding, so someone else would have to choose a spot.

But....one the other hand a non rididng get together would be just fine. Meet up, grab some food, cruise around, kick back, ect.... Don't know what exactly we would do but theres always something. Go karts might be something fun, Speedway is a fun and fast track.

If its on a Saturday or Sunday, there's a better chance I can make whatever gets planned out. I literally work out of state during the week (I was in L.A. on Tuesday, now I'm in Salem, OR) and don't usually get home until late on Fridays. Tomorrow will be the exception and I'll actually be in town all day.

I like the kart track idea, I've already been to the F1 Race Factory near Scottsdale (I think that's where it is).

As for the dirtbike/quad idea: I have riding gear, but nothing to ride yet. I also pretty much suck in the dirt though(pavement is my thing).

how bout F1 racing? its $20 a race and lots of fun....just a bit pricey for some ....then we could go to Chili's afterwords for some beers

allthough im out for the carts dont think they will lrt me race with a cast on my hand :jester:

Speedway is a better track in my opinion, more chance to really get up to speed. Might actually be closer to you too. Yeah then chilis afterward would be fun, when you want to do it?? Next Sat?? Who else is down? I know 20 bucks may be a little pricey, but it isn't that much, plus it will be a good time. Just as much as going to the track I suppose.

Ahhh... oned handed racing would be an experience.
