Anyone have any experience with VHT Dye products? I am changing the color of my headliner and of course I have to paint or dye my tan pieces as the rear hooks, visor hardware and center message center. I was going to do Fusion but figured I would spend a few minutes looking into dye. I have had good luck with Fusion but with all the moving pieces of the message center a dye would be a better choice. Here is a link to one of their products which is called a vinyl dye but can also be used on ABS plastic.

Here is a write-up of a guy who painted his computer cases and misc things on his computer.

I am going to head to the auto store tonight and see how it does on my interior pieces. I will report back..

Where can I find the stuff? I've been to every auto parts store, wal-mart, lowes, etc. I know I can get it online but the shipping would be as much as the paint.

What you used is not dye, its a "Coating". Its basicly paint. I saw that stuff before I did mine but shyed away from anything calling itself a coating..

From the can:

Dress up or add life to your interior vinyl and fabric with Dupli-Color® High Performance Vinyl & Fabric Coating.
