hey guys Im going to crank my t-bars on friday and was gonna lift the back with blocks or shackles but can't decide. So what are the pros and cons foreach way?

Yeah, the 4x4s are inverted, so you will need shorter ones. The schackles are going to be harder because you have to fight with the freaking bushings. The blocks have the disadvantage of causing axle wrap.

Absolutely.

I replaced all my busings and bolts while I was at it. The best way I found was to put the spring in a vice and go at it with an air chistle. A torch would help out too. The problem with getting them out is the factory bushings are metal rubber metal. So you have to break the metal band loose against the spring. It is possible.

anyone ever made any shackles before???? is it really that hard to install
i bought mine online for like $43 shipped. I forget the site name. They were Belltech 2" suburban drop shackles. Really nice product.

get some 2WD shackle brackets, and turn your shackles 180*... gotta be good for at LEAST 3" overall in the rear, plus your pinion angle will move with the lift, as you're only lifting the rear of the spring... :banana2:

I was gonna say jsut go and flip the shackle bucket upside down.
