Questions about speakers.

hey guys. I dont know anything about the stereo currently in my truck. Its a 99 dak with the stock tape/radio head unit. Im getting a new head unit but my question is with the speakers. How many speakers come in the truck? I know there is 2 in the doors but what else? As you can tell by my questions i know nothing about this :sorry: They really dont sound that bad with just the radio but im sure with a new head unit they will probably sound crappy. What size speakers are they also? Thanks in advance, because im going to order this stuff pretty soon. :wave:

Hey, well you should have 4 speakers two in the doors, and two more behind the seats on the cab walls...also, my truck is a sport model and they have the infinity speakers, i also have the tweaters that came stock as well, i'm guessing if your speakers don't sound horrible from stock it's cause there the infinity's i'mnot 100 percent about your model but someone here will let you know about it.

ya its a sport model. i might just leave the speakers alone for now.
