i was wondering who has 4.10s in there 3.9s. im getting 4.10s put in my truck on friday and wanted to see how much faster it makes a 3.9.

I've got 4.10s with my 3.9 and I love 'em! I've got 33 inch tires and she moves, couldn't imagine what it would be like with stocker sized tires. You may lose some highway... You'll likem though..

I guess you have 3.55's stock? You will notice a diffrence on take off and kick down, but your top speed will suffer. My 90 Stang GT had 2.73's stock and I went to 4.10's and it was like holy shit!, but that was a much bigger step then what you are doing. If you have an auto trans I suggest runing an aftermarket trans cooler. I did not do that onthe Stang and smoked the trans on the freeway.

My Dak has 3.92's stock with an open diff and I may someday go to 4.56's with a LSD since I don't drive the truck all that offten.

Over all inthe city driving you will love the 4.10's and as long as you don't care about doing super high speeds you will be fine on the freeway.

4.10's with my 5-speed. FUN FUN FUN :mullet:

You might see a few 10th's off the ETA. Your not going to see a huge drop in your times, but on the street it's going to feel quicker for sure.
