Well, I noticed this a week or so ago, but I rarely drive the truck, and was hopin it was a 1 time problem. It's not.

My subwoofer, normally on powerup, 'pops' a few times. Kinda like what it sounds like if you take the wires and tap them to a power source. Today it did it during the middle of a song...

All the connections appear good. I haven't checked the ones in the box, but I'd imagine they too are good (Don't know how they could come loose)

HELP!

Well still check the connection on the speakers you never know...And the same thing happened to me when I had my rediculous system in my old car...I found out the ground for the amp was bad. So check that.

I'd have to say check and make sure your amp has a good ground like already mentioned. 7 out of 10 times that happens due to a bad ground. Make sure you speaker connections and remote wire connections are good as well.

Your adjustment on the amp it self are too high I have ran in to that problem before just turn them down a little and no more POP!

That's quite the assumption isn't it? He may have them perfectly fine. It shouldn't cause a pop in the middle of the song unless the sub is bottoming out which is what I believe you think is happening, but I doubt it. That's an obvious sound and wouldn't be confused with the "pop" you get when an amp turns on.

But on subject, Like was already said, check ground then check your RCA. The ends can get damaged pretty easily and become loose, causing the popping sound. Try wiggling them and see if the pop happens.
