ANY system at launch is gonna have problems they WILL crap out and you'll have to return it theres no way around it any launch is gonna have problems the only system ive ever had that hasnt had one problem is my 360 had it since day one not a single problem my first PS2 lasted a week my first xbox lasted a day ill end up gettin a PS3 next year :mullet: as far as online play the 360 has it beat i dont think one console's online system could even compare to xbox live. The Wii will save Nintendo's console market those thing are gonna be sooo much fun its the most interactive console ive ever seen and very cheap the gaycube was just a horrible failure for Nintendo im surprised Nintendo stayed in the market after that

You really think that this is going to be the last for the sony playstation line? I dont think so, the playstation is one of the best systems ever built and I have owned a playstation and playstation 2 and never had any problems like the xbox.
I guess you were one of the lucky ones who didn't get one of the early PS2's that didn't read discs, over heated, and in general just didn't work. I'm also gonna assume that you didn't have one of the PS2's that couldn't get online because of various software issues that required you send the PS2 back to Sony. Lucky you, you're one of the few.

Also, if any company gets blow out of the gaming community its going to be Nintendo, they just suck and cant even come close to graphics and performance, and I think Mario Bros is just a little out dated and boring so they will be the first to step down. Now all I got to do is wait for Gran Turismo 5 and my life will be complete :drive:
LOL you're serious? You do realize Nintendo has been the only of the big 3 to turn a profit on their consoles? Nintendo focuses on game play, not graphics. Companies like EA love to push out more and more sh1t each year. Buggy games, no stories, no replay value. You use SMB as an example. That game has been around for over 15 years, and I still love to play it. Once you realize that pretty graphics will only get you so far, you will see Nintendo knows what they are doing, and they do it well.

If you have $600, and 7 days to wait in line, by all means pick you up a PoS3. I will be @ home playing Gears of War on my 360, and Wii Sports on my Wii.

Hey thanks, do you still need proof of purchase though? Wal Mart kept my receipt from my first return.

nope not at all just call microsoft up and they know about the issue and have been doing a good job of standing behind the defects so far.

I agree, I never favored any console over another until now. I'm not spending 150 dollars to send my 360 to microsoft just to get it refurbished. And I'm certainly not going to spend another 300 dollars for a new one. This is my second 360 and thats two too many. Sorry microsoft you had your chance but you ruined it....twice. It'll be a while before I get the PS3 though, just a little out of my budget.

it costs you nothing to send it in. they send you a box with a ups return on it all you have to do is put your xbox in it call ups and have them pick it up wait about 5-8 business days and you get a new xbox

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Myol5k7qb_c you tell me which online aspect is better Xbox Live>PoS3 Network :eek:wned:
I love the integration. It's great to be playing GoW and see your buddy who owns it signed on (while your playing single player). You just hit your xbox button, send him an invite, keep playing single player, and when he accepts, bam, now you two are playing co-op.

Ive never played any ps2 or xbox games on the internet before. Anytime I play an online multiplayer game its on my computer. I think that computer online games will always dominate cause there is just more options and larger game play. For example, I like the game Joint Operations which can have 150 people playing the same map at the same time and its just insane, there are bullets and rpg's flying everywhere not to mention the choppers and hummers.

Rut ro shaggy. Looks like more PoS3 problems.

From The Article said:
Sony Corp.'s (6758.T) new PlayStation 3 game console has problems when playing about 200 software games from previous versions of the machine, the Sankei daily reported on Tuesday.
...
The PS3 should be able to load and run games designed for earlier PlayStation models, but the paper said some sound and screen problems have been reported when these games were played on the new console.
Hope no one here was planning on playing GT4 on their PoS3 until GT5 came out. :nana:
