Misfires

Hi, i have a 03 dakota 3.9 and issues,i keep getting codes for misfires never the same cylinders or same side of engine i have changed cap,rotor,swapped coils cant find out what is causing this ,any help will be appreciated

I was thinking changing cam and crank sensor,also i have a distributer for it i will be busy tomorrow,thanks cbr600rx7

Be mindful changing that distributor. I don't know your experience but it's not like changing one on a carbed SBC and needs special attention and a OBD-2 tool capable of reading the signal.

Fuel injectors? While running pull the connector for the injector on the misfiring cylinder, if the engine drops tone that means it is losing ignition, if the engine tone stays the same, like mine did, the injector is no good and changing it will make a world of difference. I did all 6 after that on mine, it was amazing.

Hello everyone been busy for awile,thejester517 was right 2 of my injectors are not doing anything at all soni think problem solved gonna change injectors this week and i expect a big change ,thanks everyone
