First post, so sorry if this is the wrong section.
Hey everyone, just found this forum.
I'm going to be getting a Dakota but I'm not sure what the differences are between years and would like some help as I couldn't find any online.
I know from 97-04 and 05-11 the body styles are different.. but for example when looking at aftermarket headlights online (carid.com) the 05 had a lot more options than the 08, but I thought they were the same body style?
So I was just wondering what differences there were between 00-01, 01-02, 02-03, 03-04. and the same from 05-11.. I doubt I'll get a truck older than 2000 but am not sure which body style I like better between the 2 different ones.
Also, I have worked on a Dakota before (2001 quad cab) so I know about the tricks like Durango heated leather seats fitting right in with the wire under the carpet and stuff like that.
