Nothing really new other then some show pics. Thanks though! I cant take full credit for the rear bumper. i got the idea from a member here who got it from another truck. I did remove all the plastics, tag lights and the tow ball hole. Cut off the trailer saftey chain hooks too. I welded in sheetmetal where the plastic tag mount was too. Took a long time but was well worth it. The brackets are "Z'd" and yes its notch about 3 inches in.

Heres a couple of its first show pics, it was on display at a local tech school.

WOW def looking awesome man! when I did the rt back in 08/09 I did the whole bodyline shaving, tailgate, roof strips etc. def did not go as crazy as you though with the firewall & lifting the body off the frame. I sprayed the firewall just didn't shave it. im still fascinated with that rear bumper, if you can post up some of the progress pics that would be sweet. btw heres the link to my old thread. lol http://www.dakota-durango.com/forum/showthread.php?p=2053035#post2053035

First I would like to say, you have an amazing truck and a lot of patience.
And you have a whole lot more sense then me. If I had your truck I would be driving it all over town. I just don't see how you can keep it so clean. Some people like yourself were meant to have show trucks, not me I will just jaw drop at yours. I would be showing my *ss everywhere. The police would know my truck:stirthepo

Thanks man. As of late it is in desperate need of cleaning. Short trips here and there while triying to dial in an sct tune by Flyinryan.

Todays work. Got the bracket made, solenoids mounted. lines run. and started mocking up the micro switch. I just need to mount the bottle (after I paint it) and run the feed line and the hardware is done. On to the wiring. I also installed FMS blue top 24lb injectors while I was at it. I painted them black because I just couldn't do the light blue.

If you want to skip using a micro switch, I have an electronic one that runs off of the TPS.

I don't know how I missed this, but I just read all 34 pages tonight. I have to say my hat is off to you for starting such a build and through the years documenting it, sharing it, and most of all, FINISHING IT! That is one beautiful truck, Picasso would be jellos.
