We talked aout my boat the other day but we are getting a 60 degree day friday so i might go paint my front bumper over again. They paint just didnt hold on the black plastic. Im thinking i didnt either use low enough grit sand paper or not enough primer because the paint flaking off and i cant see the primer its black.

Got my tires rotated today. saw an old friend working there. also saw a durango, red and graphite, graphite wheels. anyone on here?

Trim on the stockers. Dont buy euros. if you want go with LEDs, but no Euros.
I agree, I think the euros look like complete trash. I'm thinking maybe something like these

I can get the pair off of ebay for $54.

On a side note, while driving through the ghetto of Detroit today, I saw a beat to shit 98 Ram with a gen 3 dakota taillight duct taped to the trucks tailgate housing lol.

Same age as my dad.. My ol man buggered up his back bad a few years ago so I always try to help him with everything.

Hauled some clothes to good will and brought a friends generator home to work on in the back of it..
same with me try to help him as much as i can. I'm 15 and all my friends dads are like 10-15 years younger and everyone's like wo or holy crap

I've got a brother your age...lol .. You can drive in Maine at 15? It's always good to help out cause it comes back twice fold.. I got my ebay radio in a day early so I installed it and now Momma has her cd and cassette with steering wheel controls working. 28 bucks shipped and this radio is clean..

Bed is overfilled with wood. My intentions are to take it all out today. That really depends on what time I get off of work though.

My '03 had those on it when I bought the truck 2 years ago. It was one of the 1st things I changed on it. I sold them for $45 shipped, my dad has an older smoked style tail lights just like these and he loves em. I don't like the 05+ style to them when the original style was rounded and not so boxy. On the 05+ style those tail lights look at home but IMO not so much on a rounded body style.

I just checked my water pump cuz I suspected it was getting noisy. Took the belt off and spun it by hand... yep, it's noisy.

A few things on the "to fix" list.
Replace water pump.
Replace tensioner pulleys.
Replace valve cover gaskets.
Fix a recently developed exhaust manifold leak.

The pulleys and water pump I can do myself. I have a mechanic friend that can replace the valve cover gaskets. But I may have to take it to an exhaust shop to fix the exhaust leak. Broken studs :( The truck has almost 150,000 miles, and up till now in the last 100k+ miles I've had it, nothing on the engine was touched. Pretty good in my book.

That's a good point. I thought a more modern looking tail would be a nice touch, but I didn't think about how box like the newer Dakotas are. I'll probably still get them, but I'll also mod the stock tails with some paint on the trim and some night shade stuff.

Oh and Dartboy01, put some of that grille material in your lower valence and it will complete the look for the front end. It looks very clean otherwise.
