Just need 1, for the after-cat o2. The sensor is laid up in the frame rail, but in the year and a half I've owned the truck, I've gotten repeated P0145 code, I clear it at 5pm, and by midnight it's back.. There is no cat,so i see no point to buy a new sensor to sense shit that isn't there, probably keep popping the code anyway..

I have a 97 XJ Cherokee that keeps burning up the built in heater in the O2's new sensor can last 2 hours or 2 weeks... been thru 8 sensors earlier this year before I black taped the check engine lite...
What I mean here is if you have 1, sell it to the OP. If you have 2 of these sim things available keep me in mind for the 2nd one.

I'm not really "grasping the concept" of it.
Ive seen a similar wright up on this as well.My take on it is this.

By moving the 02 sensor out of the direct flow of the exhaust. You are tricking the computer into thinking the cat is still there because the flow of the exhaust isnt as strong on the tail end of the cat.So by pulling the sensor back like that.Your doing basicly the same thing
