hey guys i was wondering how i can spice up the front end of my 2000 dodge dakota i wanna change lights and bumper mine is rusting out any websites you know of post or pictures so i can get some ideas thanks !

It started in 99. From the looks of both styles you cannot run the newer style without hacking the dash and it probably would not fit very well..

damn I like automatic lights that's how my parents are and so used to not manually turning them on haha. What about over head consoles. I think they started in 98 or 99?. Those would be handy also in my opinion but don't matter my trucks unloaded haha no power options or anything or ac

I still have manual lights, its just a different style switch. My buddies 05 gtx ram has manual lights too. Yeah your truck is a perfect candidate for a v8 swap you already have the weight savings going on. My truck is fully loaded except for leather, no overhead console, moonroof instead. So i have no idea. Isn't your truck a club cab?

yea I'm used to all the electronics. There not bad I guess. Yes it's a stupid club cab I hate it me my dad went to the mud runs last month in it and my friend sat in the back and layed across the seat because there to low I hate it haha so when i get my licence only 1 person will ride and ill throw subs/amp in the back.
jbldak sorry to hear it I think it's my line is either leaking or not attached fully but if I fill it up don't bother for a while.

My fav roll pan is the cuda one,which they quit making years ago. for the front end i love the 2 piece, new oem foglights with SS inserts and a stillen bumper cover. The painted to match handles and roof moldings are nice too

Pcreig320 I just pulled out an overhead console from a 97 dakota club cab 4x4 and put it into mine. I think the overhead console was always an option...not sure though

I'm actually planning on night shading my 3rd brake light. Might even go get an older 3rd brake light lens that's completely red and night shade the stripes into it. The 97-99 3rd brake lenses were solid red.

There are some solid red brake lights, I'm only thinking about it because you're about the 6th one who's mentioned it. lol Might even do 1 better, smoked LED 3rd brake light......

That and they really grab your attention when they light up. Some even have a safety feature that flash 3 times then go solid on after that.
