Hi all ,

tought of building a 'kota with a 5.7L Hemi in it, but plans changed after i bought this ''new'' '98 Dakota with 106K on it. Mechanicaly tight, but bad quality paint. So i decided to change the 2 fenders and fix the 2 wheels opening on the bed, sand that crappy paint and do it all over. Ordered a 3'' suspension lift kit and will had a 2'' body lift with that.

here's some pics on how it started:

OK, some updates. Cab and doors interiors are done.Should do bumpers, fenders flairs and doors exteriors today. It's been 2 weeks since i started the project, and see the end of it. Can hardly wait to drive it when suspension, body lift and 33'' tires will be on:mullet:

That thing should look tough! It's got a pretty nice stance and tires in the first pic. Did you go with black for the new color? Can't tell but it looks like it was Deep Amethyst before. Glad to see somebody care enough to fixing these up!

i'm in the process of ''put back together'' all the parts. Just got my 2'' body lift, suspension is almost done. 33'' tires are on, on the rear end, and it look really good. This evening, doing the middle shaft on the steering column, joint are worn out. will had new pics later on, no time to do it at the moment.
