Would this work on a 97 5.2? Or just the 4.7?
I had the 3.9 V6 in the truck, so imagine it would. As far as i understand, everything was the same in the trucks with the exception of the motor. 3.9, 5.2, 5.9 had all the same accessories. Rad, fan, ac, etc.

I believe it's only the 2000 and up trucks that have both electric fans and mechanical fans from the factory. the earlier trucks don't have the plug to hook up the fan to, and the radiators are different, and in different locations, so it's likely NOT a bolt in swap for earlier trucks. but, adding an electric fan of ANY make is a simple swap to do, and there's no reason why this fan won't work if you get an aftermarket controller.

I can't remember how it bolted when I pulled it. I wanna say that there were bolts going through the rad to hold it, but if it did, I( know for a fact I don't have them now. Ill get the pix now.

Yeah I don't wanna be a dick, but you can buy brand new Taurus fans for $125 and they will pull a whole lot more air.

i never claimed any fan was better then the other. I have it, dont want it, figured id sell it. If someone makes an offer on it that im ok with then ill sell it for that. Im not trying to be a douche and rook someone. just selling something that i dont need that someone else may want. thats it.

The stock Efan is sufficent for these motors.

this can be wired for a circuit relay or harness also

it's a DC motor. wire it backwards!:mullet::jester:
That's what I was thinking lol.
I thought all the e-fans off these trucks/SUV's where pusher fans(pushed air into the radiator from the front), learn somethin new e'eryday!!!

ill do $50 + shipping if anyone is seriously interested

Can be wire to be puller or pusher by reversing wires. Also can easily bolt up with simple mounting bracket
