Ok I may have been not so clear when I posted that my truck has the 4.7 V8 in it. So I will post that now. I hage a 2004 Dakota SLT with the 4.7 V8 in it. And the manifold has a leak in it. A buddy of mine has a set of headers off of his Dodge 1500 that has a 5.4 V8, I just wanted to know if they would fit. Thanks

What the fuck? Dodge does NOT make a 5.4. Ford MADE the 5.4, it has now been replaced. NO THEY WILL NOT FIT. 2 COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MOTORS AND SETUPS. Just go to the link I posted and be done with it. IT WILL NOT WORK

Thinks it better off you take it too a shop and dont even touch the truck AT ALL.

For some reason, I dont think he meant the 5.2, think he meant a 5.4.

Thanks

Ok guys, Sorry for confusing every one. This is my first Dodge and learning alot from you guys.
I know have my numbers mixed up SORRY! Have lots of experience with motor craft none with Mopar.
So as it goes my buddy has a 5.2 I have a 4.7 I bought this truck with the manifold cracked. I have never had to deal with manifold before on any of my trucks. I was told that headers were better and to go with those instead.
I did do so looking and found a set of Gibson headers for about $325 + shipping. Just looking for a lil bit of help. And yes I will take it to my mechanic.

Nope, they will not fit, and gibson yes, but Ive never seen them below 600 for a 4.7. The 4.7 and 5.2 motors are setup different as well as for a ram and dakota. Go with headers if you want to spend the money, of not just go to the OE manifolds again

are these the ones u found? seem to be a good deal, i would go for it
