Thanks.

I figured id just flat black the hood and grill for now. Painting isnt really my thing. Only thing to get is a front bumper. Working on an electric fan and a huge trans cooler while its apart

That must have been a weird impact. I don't get how the fender could get messed up that way and even the frame got bent, but the hood looks untouched. Anyways, it's looking good man.

I never seen a thread on it. Its an aftermarket grill. I cut the stock blades out and cut up some mesh to fit and used some good adhesive and glued them in. I drilled a hole thru the latch handle and i have some braided steel wire that ill use to pull the lever

nice, what are you gonna do about accessing the hood latch with the full inserts in there? make a rod that goes down towards the bottom of the grill like I've seen some people do

looking good man, i love when people bring these trucks back from the dead, you decide on what you want from the truck yet whether its a nice street ride or a full out drag truck. love it so far and cant wait to c it come together more.
