Ive got a 5.2 magnum. It used to redline at 4700 obviously. The cam im swappin in is from comp cams with 206/212 duration and lift at .48/.48. Ill also be changing out the valve springs to handle the new camshaft. Im gonna get a set of springs thatll handle more lift than is required and id like the new redline to be somewhere in the 5000-5500 rpm range. Any suggestions on what kinda specs ill need as far as the valve springs go?

Get what ever spring the cam grinder specifies.

5500 won't be a problem. Won't make much if any HP past that anyway with those cam specs. fwiw with upgraded springs, rockers, valves I spinning my stock 360 to 6700rpm
