Haha u got it!!! Agreed hate that I beam suspension too!!! Hey by the way I'm working on big brake kits for 1/2 Gen Dakotas :)
I saw a thread title about big brake kits on another forum but never read up on it. I just put new rotors, pads, and shoes on mine a few months ago but when they are toast I plan on doing this.

Thank you. What do you mean? The side marker lenses are gone, the color is OEM exact match. There will be sheet metal there instead some day; custom fenders.

Ohh oh, I never thought of it. With the clear lenses and new bulbs they are BRIGHT! I actually don't mind the heavy contrast; with them sticking out. I think it looks clean, somehow the rectangular directionals help square up the front end IMO.

In the process of gutting the interior, I will be replacing the carpet/sound dampening soon:

Before; when I first got it.

After, dashboard swap, side mirror swap, new HVAC control panel + stereo, lower dash has been swapped to grey along with the A-pillars, B-pillars and everything else (only thing blue is the upper dash now) and the seats are out of a 2000 BMW 740i (fully powered including headrests).

Looks great! Like the seats too!!
U gonna dye or paint the dash black?
Thanks, a lot of work. My grandfather hates me for what I'm doing to it :banana2:

I'm not sure what I want to do with the dash, I may replace it with a grey dash, I may paint it if I can figure out how to do it right without fading and chipping, I was also looking at "dash-mats" but I don't think they would cover ALL the blue.

Mopar sells a spray dye that is supposed to match. Find out the paint code for the interior see if they offer it.

You swapped from black dash panels to wood grain? I had wood grain I swapped to black the day I bought it! (now painted Silver) But if you like it its your truck

WOw that looks great man! props

I have a few cracks that have appeared on corners since I've owned it so it needs to be replaced possibly unless I can Bondo them or something.

Yeah I like the wood grain, when polished up with some Armorall it looks nice with leather bucket seats much more of a "luxury" package, on top of that I also have a rear view mirror with map lights to go with my luxury package :D plus the wood grain breaks up the dash a bit so each section/component has some contrast to it (HVAC, stereo, vents, cup holder, etc.)

Thanks, now I need to replace my door panels and drop that stock steering wheel!

Keep in mind the seats are stuck in the position they were taken in until I figure out the wiring so they are all the way up^ if you notice how close the bottom of the steering wheel is to the seat.

I was gonna say, it would be hard to drive like that. I'm glad they move back further, since those type of seats are always fuller and thicker. I contemplated installing raised racing seats in my old regular cab Ranger.

I'm glad you are making that old thing look nice, makes me wish I had kept my Ranger and made it all nice.

I'll post new pictures with them in their "adjusted positions" once I figure out what I did to fk up the drivers seat electrical to make it not adjust haha

Now this stupid scissor jack holder needs to go, this is 2012 we have cell phones if we break down we call someone (I'm just justifying the fact I don't have room for it). I need this space for my woofer enclosure, I had a sound engineer design me a box 4ft wide only 10" tall and 7.5" deep that encloses two 6.5" woofers on the top. It goes about halfway up the back cab wall and directly above that all the way up to the bottom of the window I'll have my amps, crossovers, compactor, distribution block, DI-USB soundcard/box, it's going to be a tight fit. The enclosure is called a T-line with both the 6.5" woofers together on the same side working together (it will sound like I have at least two powerful 10's with a large box) ... ANYWAY point is the bracket has to go:

It's held on with tack/spot welds, nothing a hand grinder and chisel won't remove:

Can anyone tell me what these sticky pads are for under the seat belt brackets? Are they to prevent movement like a lock washer?

After I installed my amp and crossovers on the rear cab wall I noticed the screws went though the exterior of the cab wall! I thought it was thicker than that; double walled like a cooler...
