I ran 31x10.5x16 on my 01' ram I had a couple years ago, i'd say its the best tire I have ever had! They're pricier then the duratracs, but are slightly quieter, and last very long! Great Tire! Duratracs are a close 2nd!

Two thumbs up.....

I bought a set for my QC 2wd and love them. Don't do a lot of mud but we get plenty of snow and I'm real happy with the performance. Traction is great and in summer they are quieter than the stock Good Years.

I have always had very good results with them. I ran the 31x10.5R15s on my Explorer and my Dakota. I had around 60K on the ones on my Explorer when IO sold it and they still had probably 80-85% of tread left. As long as you keep them rotated and inflated properly, they wear like iron.

The set on my Dakota is wearing very quickly., After 2 years and around 35-36K, they will probably need replacement in the next 4-6 months. I think I just got a bad set, because my friend got a set on his Dakota about 3 months before I got mine and he has around 50K and they still look almost new.

I would recommend them as they are a great tire. There are people who have gotten between 80-100K out of a set. Just keep them rotated and properly inflated and you will be good to go.

I bought my truck with 31x10.5 BFG A/T ko's. They were great but if u compare the pattern to the general grabber AT2's they are very similar. I'm running grabbers now and couldn't be happier and they're like $50 a tire less!

I agree, I have General Grabber AT2s as well and they are by far the best tire I have ever had. Atleast $50 a tire less than the BFG ATs and have the same ratings (better on wet roads). I would HIGHLY recommend them!

yeah i work at a tire place, so i rotate and all that good stuff for free :mullet: and i was lookin at either the grabber at2's or the BFG's idk i want an aggresive tire i had some m/ts and it absolutely killed my gas mileage, noise doesnt bother me.. so idk, the grabbers are alot cheaper, but i could also get the bfg's for a discounted price since im in charge of ordering all the tires for my job.. could just order myself a set, and i like how there still pretty aggresive looking and i feel like the at2's arent

and my truck is 2wd and i do some wheelin here and there (Mud/trails) nothing to crazy just a few mudpits here and there i dont go mud boggin or anything just have a little fun haha, and even with the m/t's ive gotten stuck a few times i just feel like with the a/t's im gonna get stuck even more since i dont have the big lugs, so i was debating on swampers but there really expensive to buy new, plus i dont even know were to get some, and ive heard that the bfg a/ts fill up with mud and turn into slicks really quick.. another thing im worried about snow, the m/ts kicked ass in the snow

yeah i did, but the sidewall tread doesnt look as aggresive as the BFG's
Since when did the BFG KO have sidewall tread? lol I've heard some good things about the Duratracs, but that is the ONLY Goodyear tire in the past couple yrs I've heard anything good about also which personally makes me hesitant to buy a Goodyear myself. I loved my Grabber AT2s, surprised me how well they did in the mud, by far the best tire I've run in the sand. IMO the reason they are a better tire then the BFG, aside from the price as mentioned above, is the siping they have. Other then the siping they have they are an almost exact copy of the BFGs, that siping makes them better in the snow, rocks, and the sand as it makes the tread more flexible.

I run the BFG KO's on my '87 Wrangler and the Grabber AT2's on my Dakota. The KO's have a slightly harder rubber compound than the AT2's. If I were to do it again I would run the KO's on my Dakota since it see's much more highway usage. And I'd run the AT2's on my Wrangler.
