get a cherokee. cheapest and easiest way to learn. lots of them available, they are cheap, and last for ever. get a 94 and later xj. put a 4.5" lift on it with 33s, cut the fenders and lock the axles.

i have a thread about jeeps... i can explain more if you are serious.

really 4.5" lift with 33s is that all they'll clear or is that all your running with the lift?

im running 8" and SMASHED THE FUCK out of my fenders haha. you can MAKE 33s fit with 4.5" of lift... go read my other thread.

threadjack over.

im running 33s on my 3in lift, oh it possible.
i gotta get out there to the cliffs with ya, never been there, only wheeled the badlands so far. bad news is on my last trip i blew the transfer case, i have another one on a parts jeep but haven't pulled it yet. due to the fact the seat feel through the floor and the rear brakes are gone im thinking of just getting another xj instead. if you got that thing running right we got our annual BIG trip coming in march, last year there was 125 xj's kinda slow wheeling but fun to see that many xj's out there lemme know.

awesome pics.

Ive been on small group trips... No thanks. You spend more time sitting waiting in line a mile down the trail cause one guy who has no business in ajeep got stuck... No thanks haha. Two or three jeeps is best.
