Yeah... I broke the bolt on the steering shaft trying to get mine off. :clap2:

So I did what I've done to the last two trucks.... welded in a 3-4" piece of square tubing... didn't even have to take the shaft out... which saved about 3 hours of swearing and throwing wrenches. :banana2:

P.S. AND POST SOME PICS!

yea i wanted to cut my steering shaft and weld in a extention to keep the u joints close to a supported surface... will help with the slop and life of the ujoints... i just need a weldor lol and 2-3" of pipe that will fit lol

ive got the extention and ive tried it on the top of the shaft and the bottom of the shaft and it wont stay tight... the aluminum just wollers out and gets loose again... i would just go on and put in a extention

that looks really good man. you did a good job on the rim painting and ive never seen that spiderweb thing on the back windshield i like it:mullet:

Thanks man, the reason you've never seen the cab rack is because I've only made one of them.

bull bar is coming off when i do the body lift... i dont wanna fab up brackets to fit with the body lift..... also hope to be going with a steel bumper this winter. may have to get a set of nerf bars if my daughter has too much trouble climbing in lol, she barely gets in now without steps
