Yep to both. Decal package is due to arrive on Thursday.

This evening I put the lights, mirrors and grill back on/in. I've got to get a windshield this week, and still need to get new tires. When I parked it 6 years ago, I left my tires on it exposed to the sun....dry-rot city......

Rear flares, bumper and light bar are back on.... Decal/Stripe kit arrives this Thursday... Hope to have the windshield in by Friday.... Tires get mounted on the original Shelby wheels late next week, as does the stripe installation.... The front fender stripes actually go behind the front fender flares and bumper, so I can't finish the front just yet..... I'm starting to get excited. :drive:

Did you get the stripe kit from Phoenix Graphix?
i did. i can only hope they got the rear bed corner issue worked out. at one time they straight cut them and they just wouldn't wrap towards the tailgate correctly.....

My stripe kit arrived last week - cracked the box open today and noticed 3 minor things with the kit. 1 - the driver's side bed decal is not cut out for the gass filler door. I've got to tape it in place, mark/cut it, trim, and then install it. I expected it to come pre cut with a piece for the filler door like it did from the dealer 15 years ago when I had to repair a hit and run by a run-a-way cable reel.... 2 - the short pieces of silver stripe that go from the front bumper to the front wheel well are cut different than the originals. The wide stripe of the new one stops behind the bumper, where the original wrapped the front edge of the fender. 3 - the door/cab stripe came as one long piece rather than three seperate pieces from the front wheel to the rear corner of the cab, leaving me to have to cut them at the door jambs..... I can deal with 2 and 3 easy enough, but I called Pheonix about the filler door issue. Nice enough to deal with, but they claimed they used original templates and had no answer about the filer door. I thought maybe they just forgot to cut that part out. Apparently not. After talking about it for about 10 minutes, the guy there suggested that maybe they used the template from the right side of the truck and just did a mirror image for the left.... would make sense I suppose, but for the $ I would expect little trimming and no cutting your own....

I'll have pics up Friday after I get done.

Trucks gonna look great man, where abouts in central MD are ya? Gonna take this thing to the Shrewsbury Farmers Market shows next year?
Right side and most of the left is done as of this evening. Still have todo the tailgate and left door/cab, tighten the front bumper and get wiper blades. I swear this thing was not this shiney and fresh looking when I bought it new in 89........ I'm between Arundel Mills Mall and the Key Bridge in Glen Burnie. Shrewsbury next year?? Didn't know they had a yearly show.....although probably not. I'm already planning my vacation around Carlisle and the Mopar Nats in Ohio as part of the parts hunting for my son's 65 B'cuda. We need the ever elusive right side 1/4.....

btw - nice rear...um, i mean tail end...er, view...uh, truck, yeah that's it, nice truck....lol

This might just be me, but I would much rather have a mint condition Shelby Dakota than a 65 Barracuda haha
Nearly mint...lol It's a win-win for both of us. He'll learn to drive in the Shelby and use it beginning next October until his B'cuda is done. Then I get the Shelby back again.....

So it's done (except a head liner)..... The rest of the interior is originally perfect as built fromday one.

WOW man!!! That turned out freaking awesome!!!

I'll have to get ahold of you sometime, I've got a `67 Barracuda that I'm starting work on in the spring. It's going to be the family car. Been sitting in a barn for the last 20 some years. Mint, except for the mice that need to be evicted and the tires that need replacing so far as I can tell, but I'm sure I'll need some sources for parts from ya.

Thanks for the compliments! I intend for it to be my daily driver again... brought it to work Tuesday and missed a deer by 1 truck length...... I believe its got a stuck injector, too....

6-pack motor.... I toyed with the idea of swapping the 6pack motor out of my Fury into it and going 440 there....but the reality of 3 kids, my oldest son's 65 B'cuda build and time/money prevailed......
