Its been a while since I have posted progress on my slow going fix up. Swapped over to 255/70 falken tires with some yellow letterage. Got a new bumper and color matched it and got a new radiator support and fender. Just got around to finishing the paint on the fender. Not perfect but good enough for spray paint. Next is a nasty side exit pipe before the rear wheel.

one wheel peal!! haha jk, looks good man i wish my red dakota had a red grill and bumper, all u need now is a 360, 5speed and a locker
 
um get the 5speed from a 5.2 dakota/ram, or a 5.9 ram,
 
for the 360, there are two different 5 spd trans for it... well that will bolt up.

the AX-15 (commonly found behind the 2.5 and 3.9)

and the NV3500. there are a few similar ones like the nv3550 though.

i'd go with the nv3500, it only has the bellhousing and the tail shaft section. the AX-15 has 3 sections... the bell housing, center, tail.

don't forget about the pedals though!
 
the ax15 is shit it wont hold up the nv3500 is supposed to be way underrated and will hold up to a stock/mild built 360 and theres the nv4500 from the rams that went behind the 360 and its geared low as hell or atleast thats how i understand it

I think if i was going to actually take the time to put a 360 in it and build it up with that much power I would put in the keisler 6 speed. Does anyone thing the ax-15 would survive behind a stock-mild 318?
 
the 97 was. but that was taken out by a deer.

the 02 is a 2.5 5spd.

i also have an 01 QC 5.9 auto

and my project is a frankenstein...
04 QC cab, gonna have a stock floored frame, 00 5.9 5 spd w/ harness (interior and engine) and drivetrain and a 98 reg bed.
